Description
Cut & Paste is an oTCG (online trading card game) based on the popular Paper Mario series by Nintendo. The game is played using virtual cards that can be obtained through an array of games and events. The goal of the TCG is to have fun, trade with the community, and (of course) collect cards.
Theme
The theme is Paper Mario, which means puns, fun, and lots of paper. Throught the Paper Mario series, Mario is now paper-fied and has to once again save Princess Peach which usually leads to him having to save the world from evil and destruction. You will play the role of a Paper Mario style character through the site events. So put on your boots, grab your hat and remember to stay clear of any stray breezes.
The Cards
The cards are really the heart and soul of a TCG. The cards are collected in sets called decks and once you have collected all the cards in a deck, you have mastered it! There are two types of cards, regular and special. Regular cards are slit up into three types of decks; heart, flower, and map pieces. Special cards are split into two types of decks; star and mistake. Heart, flower, and map piece cards are easiest to find, while star cards are more rare. Mistake cards the extremely rare but you can master the deck multiple times in sets of five cards.

Coupons
To collect the cards there are weekly, monthly, and never ending games called stages. While playing the stages you will also receive coupons for rewards. These coupons each have a unique specialty and can be redeemed at the Pianta Parlor for cards. They are basically I.O.U.'s for cards. There is one type of coupon for each type of deck except the mistake deck. These are what the coupons look like (please do not take).

Coins & Star Pieces

There are two types of currency; coins and star pieces. The coins are easier to find but the star pieces are more rewarding. Star pieces can be exchanged at the Badge Shop for badges which give you special powers. Coins can be used to purchase extra coupons or star pieces at Toad Town Shop. For a full list of prices, visit the Star Pieces page.
Levels
To level up you must meet two requirements; card value and number of completed stamp cards. This is a trading card game, so it only makes sense that you would need to trade with others to level up.
| Level | Card Value | Stamp Cards |
| Goomba | 0-200 | 0 |
| Koopa | 201-400 | 1 |
| Bob-omb | 401-700 | 3 |
| Dry Bones | 701-1000 | 5 |
| Boo | 1001-1400 | 10 |
| Toad | 1401-1800 | 15 |
| Helper | 1801-2300 | 20 |
| Partner | 2301-2800 | 30 |
| Pixl | 2801-3400 | 40 |
| Hero | 3401+ | 50+ |
Once you reach Hero, you can still level up for every 600 card value and 5 stamp cards. But instead of being Hero +1, your level will be *Goomba, followed by *Koopa, etc. If you happen to reach *Hero, then your next level would be **Goomba.
